the foundation for this mix was originally laid back in the summer of '06 because i was approached by someone at Macy's who was interested in having a rock flavored mixtape included as part of a back to school campaign. due to song clearance issues & what have you, it didn't quite happen so i sat on it for a couple years and decided to revisit it last summer as part of a mixtape making binge i went on.

lotta rock classics on this one and a couple joints that aren't "technically" rock per se (Limp Bizkit feat. Method Man, etc...) but you get the idea of where i'm going with it.
